Specially valved specifically for autocross and street use, these strut inserts are custom made to Cobb specifications by Koni Ð a world leading suspension manufacturer. Through the input and development from leading SCCA Subaru drivers, we have two very specific valving options available. The ÔStreet TireÕ valving is optimal for daily driven street cars using high performance street tires and autocross competitors required by class rules to use an approved street tire (ie: STS). For those running in other classes that allow for the use of a stiff, sticky race compound tire Ð such as G-Stock, SM, and others Ð we recommend using the ÔRace TireÕ valved inserts. Both struts are adjustable to your specific driving style, preference, or surface condition through KoniÕs unique adjustment system. Please note that the inserts are valved differently for a reason, and there is no advantage to running the ÔRace TireÕ insert on a Street Tire compound Ð no matter how sticky you think your street tires are. Please feel free to contact one of our technical specialists with questions before ordering. Note: These inserts require modifying the original strut for installation.
