Cobb lightweight solid one piece chromoly steel flywheel. This 12.36lb flywheel is available for the 93+ Impreza 2.2, 2.5, Legacy 2.5 and some 2.2, Forester 2.5. and WRX, and weighs approx half the weight of the stock flywheel, at only 13lbs. This will allow the motor to rev up significantly faster, improving acceleration noticably. Some people report losing over half a second off the 0-60 times with a light flywheel. I have driven two similar Imprezas back to back, one with and one without and instantly knew which car had the flywheel. I have a similar one piece light flywheel on my own turbocharged Impreza RS and love it! While this is a little more costly than others at $469.95 it is shipped within continental USA free (WRX model $20 more, also shipped free!). It has the benefit of being one-piece, instead of being two-piece with a pressed-on ring gear that can spin or affect the balance, or even worse be thrown off at high RPM. Built specifically for upgraded vehicles, the Pro-Street Clutch kit is designed for the hard street or competition driver looking for more performance than the stock clutch can provide. These units are completely streetable but do result in a slightly stiffer pedal and quicker engagement. Extremely reliable and specially built with brand new parts, these kits are rated to handle over 300ft/lbs of torque. As clutches are not RPM dependant, they are not rated by HP numbers, but for those who are curious, this capacity equates to approximately 360HP @ 6250 RPM (redline).
